FROM A HOUSE TO A CLINIC

The house that is now known as the Gentle Healer Pet Clinic was once known as the home of Rollo and Lilian Pike.  The Pike's lived in the house from the mid 1932s until putting it up for sale in 2002. That same year Scott Harman purchased the home and began his life-long dream of opening his own clinic.

THE DOCTOR
Scott F. Harman DVM

Scott Harman graduated from Iowa State Universty in 1987. 
He started his business here in Watertown as a relief doctor for other clinics around Wisconsin.  
As the Gentle Healer's client base grew Scott's relief work whittled down.  
He now works (and sometimes sings silly songs) exclusively here at Gentle Healer.

Dr. Harman has been working with the Watertown Humane Society since 2006.
In 2007 the Humane Society invited him to be their offical veternarian.

DONNA HARMAN
Donna Harman is the doctor's lovely wife.  Donna has been along for the ride since the two met in high school.

Carla Walsh is a certified veterinary technician and is Gentle Healer's clinic manager. Carla is an invaluable team member and our clinic's laser safety technician.  She has had 20+ years experience and has been a part of the clinic team since 2004.

ANDREA WALSH

Andrea Walsh wears many hats here at Gentle Healer.  Not only is she a certified Veterinary assistant, she also is our resident beautician and our web site designer.  She has been with us since 2005.

JULIE LOHMAN
Julie Lohman is a certified Veterinary Assistant that has worked at Gentle Healer since 2006.  Julie works full time at our clinic, part time at the Humane Society and runs our puppy kindergarten and obedience classes, you can call or email Julie at www.gentlehealerjml@gmail.com

HILLARY HARMAN

Hillary Harman is Doctor Harman's middle child and Gentle Healer's office manager.  Hillary pays the bills at our clinic while working toward her Associates Degree in Business Adminstration.  Hillary has been a great asset to the clinic since 2006.

Lauren Drewek
Our newest team member, she started in 2010.  Lauren also volunteers at Paws for Purrs in Oconomowoc.

Vicki Fitzsimmons
Vicki is our dedicated part time receptionist.  She started in 2009 to help us out when Julie and Andrea were out having babies and has never left.

Matthew
Everyday rain or shine Matthew comes in and takes Izzy and Fraser for a walk.  He has been employed with us since 2009.

Izzy

Izzy is one of our clinic dogs. She is a dachshund/poodle.  She has been a part of the family since 2007.

Fraser

Fraser, our other clinic dog is a Black Lab.  He was one of 14 puppies that were born at the clinic in 2007.
