Scott Harman graduated from Iowa State University in 1987. He started his business here in Watertown as a relief doctor for other clinics around Wisconsin.
As the Gentle Healer's client base grew Scott's relief work whittled down.
He now works (and sometimes sings silly songs) exclusively here at the Gentle Healer.

FROM A HOUSE TO A CLINIC
The house that was once known as the Gentle Healer Pet Clinic was the home of Rollo and Lilian Pike. The Pike's lived in the house from mid 1932 until putting it up for sale in 2002. That same year Scott Harman purchased the home and began his life-long dream of opening his own clinic. Due to the clinic's rapid growth, the clinic purchased a new building in 2015. As of July 2016 the Gentle Healer resides at 301 W Spaulding St in Watertown.
The Gentle Healer has been working with the Watertown Humane Society since 2006.
In 2007 the Humane Society invited him to be their offical veternarian.
